Apple and Ricotta cheese soufflés

Ingredients

  • 25 ml (1 tablespoon) butter
  • 25 ml (1 tablespoon) all-purpose flour
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) cream 15%/li>
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) Ricotta cheese
  • 250 ml (1 cup) Applesnax apple sauce
  • 2 ml (1/2 teaspoon) ground cinnamon
  • 6 to 8 green grapes cut in pieces (optional)
  • 3 medium egg whites

Preparation

Preheat oven at 180° C (350° F). Melt butter in a pan and stir in the flour and the cream, let simmer on slow heat for 5 minutes.

Blend in the cheese, the Applesnax apple sauce and the green grapes. Continue cooking for 5 minutes. Add cinnamon and let stand for 10 to 12 minutes.

Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form and fold into mixture.

Poor into 6 small soufflé dish, greased and floured. Bake 20 minutes or so and serve immediately.
